Job summary

ENERSURS AS is seeking a Work Prep Engineer to support construction, mechanical completion and commissioning. You will prepare and maintain detailed work orders from engineering work packs, including man-hour estimates, drawings and material lists, to ensure timely execution.

The role requires 5+ years in oil & gas, familiarity with MC/commissioning processes and PIMS tools, and strong ability to read drawings (P&IDs, ISO). Fluent Norwegian and good English are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical education (vocational or engineering) with trade cert or equivalent.
• 5+ years in oil and gas, preferably construction or commissioning.
• Familiar with MC/commissioning processes and PIMS tools.
• Ability to read P&IDs and ISO drawings.
• Fluent Norwegian and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed work orders based on EWPs, including man-hour estimates, drawings and material lists (MTO).
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Review safety aspects and ensure HSSE compliance.
• Identify improvements to optimize work preparation processes.
• Regular work week with possible remote work when practical.
