Job summary

NES Fircroft in Stord, Norway seeks an experienced Work Prep Engineer (EIT) for offshore hook-up projects. You will develop and maintain detailed work orders, including MHR estimates, drawings, procedures and MTOs, based on engineering work packs.

The role requires a technical education and at least five years in oil & gas, with familiarity of MC and commissioning processes and digital tools such as PIMS CMS/PIMS PES. Fluency in Norwegian and good written and spoken English are required.

Qualifications

• Technical education and/or engineering degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in oil & gas or related industry.
• Familiarity with MC and commissioning completion processes and digital tools.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings (P&IDs, ISO).
• Fluent in Norwegian, with good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES based on EWP.
• Include man-hour estimates, drawings, procedures and material lists (MTO).
• Interface with engineering, planning, construction and commissioning teams.
• Review safety aspects and HSSE compliance for planned work.
