Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS seeks a senior project support specialist for offshore construction and commissioning in Stord. The role involves developing detailed work orders, estimates, and material lists, and coordinating with engineering, planning, and construction teams to meet prerequisites.

You will review safety aspects, identify risks, and ensure HSSE compliance while seeking opportunities to optimize work preparation and capture lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas, construction or commissioning.
• Technical education with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with MC/commissioning and PIMS.
• Ability to read P&IDs and ISO drawings.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all prerequisites are met.
• Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.
• Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.

Required expertise

• Technical education (vocational or engineering degree) with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry or a related field, preferably within construction or commissioning.
• Familiarity with mechanical completion (MC) and commissioning processes, along with digital tools (e.g., PIMS).
• Strong understanding of technical drawings (P&IDs, ISO) and the ability to interpret technical documentation.

Language: Norwegian and English

Location: Stord, with offshore work required

Work schedule: Full-time, regular work week with some remote work options
