Job summary

IKM is seeking a skilled engineer for the Stord-based role with offshore work. You will develop and maintain detailed work orders, estimates, drawings and material lists, and collaborate with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure prerequisites are met.

You will review safety aspects, identify risks, and ensure HSSE compliance, while seeking improvements in work preparation and contributing to lessons learned from projects in oil and gas, construction, and

Qualifications

Technical education with relevant trade certificate or equivalent.
5+ years in oil & gas, preferably within construction/ commissioning.
Familiar with mechanical completion (MC) and commissioning processes, with digital tools (PIMS).
Ability to read P&IDs and ISO drawings.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed work orders, including man-hour estimates, drawings, procedures, and material lists.
Collaborate with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure prerequisites are met.
Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure HSSE compliance.
Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.
