MDE Stavanger is seeking a Technical Safety Engineer to shape offshore safety. You will contribute to functional safety, area classification, and F&G/ESD, with focus on WHERA, risk analyses, and environmental assessments.

The role leverages FEED and early studies within a multi-disciplinary team. The position requires experience from Oil & Gas on the NCS, strong knowledge of HAZOP/HAZID/LOPA/WHERA, and fluency in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• Oil & Gas experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
• Experience with FEED and early study projects preferred.
• Experience with offshore process and process safety design.

Responsabilités

• Work in the technical safety team across areas like Functional Safety Engineering (FSA) and SIL.
• Contribute to area classification, Fire & Gas/ESD, and escape routes.
• Support WHERA, chemical risk analysis, and environmental considerations.
