MDE Stavanger is seeking a Technical Safety Senior/Principal Engineer to lead safety analyses and FEED activities for offshore projects on the NCS. The role focuses on functional safety, SIL, area classification, fire and gas, and environmental risk assessment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a Master or Bachelor in a relevant field, strong offshore safety experience, and fluency in Norwegian and English.

Formación

• Master or Bachelor degree in relevant topics.
• Work experience in Oil & Gas on the NCS.
• Experience with HAZOP/HAZID/LOPA/WHERA.
• Knowledge of NORSOK, PTIL, ISO, PSA, API.
• Good communication in Norwegian and English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform functional safety engineering (FSA).
• Address Safety Integrity Level (SIL) requirements.
• Handle area classification, F&G/ESD, and emergency response.
• Consider environmental and human factors (WHERA).
• Collaborate on offshore process safety design and FEED studies.
• Support onboarding and project mobilization.
