Zusammenfassung

Odfjell Technology Ltd. in Bergen seeks an Operational Purchaser to strengthen our procurement team. You will support offshore drilling and other units, ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services while collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Key tasks include sourcing, supplier negotiations, PO management, and expediting. You will contribute to continuous improvement, KPI reporting, and cost reductions within a safety‑conscious, global company.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or sourcing.
• Technical understanding of drilling, marine, or industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of offshore drilling, energy, or oil and gas industry desirable.
• Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills.
• Customer service orientation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and digital procurement tools.
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Execute purchases based on approved requisitions.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate terms.
• Manage purchase orders, change orders, and supplier communications.
• Follow up pending deliveries and coordinate expediting.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Verify PO costs and support invoice processing.
• Develop and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Support sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Identify opportunities for operational excellence and cost reductions.
• Contribute to KPI reporting and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, ethics, and QHSE.
• Participate in supplier qualification, audits, and improvements.
