Job summary

DOF is hiring a Project Surveyor in Bergen, Norway. You will join the Survey & Inspection Department and lead survey activities across decommissioning, renewables, and geophysical projects, coordinating with project managers and leadership.

You will drive tendering, mobilisation, offshore execution, and final delivery while upholding high professional standards and robust documentation. A proactive, independent mindset is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hydrographic Surveying, Geoscience, or a related field.
• Experience in offshore survey operations.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
• Strong digital and technical documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Proactive and independent in managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Survey & Inspection Department throughout all project phases.
• Ensure efficient survey operations, fit-for-purpose technical solutions, and the highest professional standards in equipment selection and survey methodologies.
• Take ownership of the survey scope on projects within decommissioning, renewables, and geophysical operations.
• From tendering and mobilisation to offshore execution and final delivery, play a key role in achieving successful project outcomes.
• Plan and coordinate survey activities with Project Managers and department leadership.
