Job summary

Sperton Norway is seeking a piping designer to deliver high-quality piping design and 3D modelling for offshore modification projects in Stavanger, Norway. You will design piping layouts, model routes, and support surveys while coordinating with process, mechanical, structural and electrical disciplines.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant offshore experience, proficiency in PDMS/E3D, knowledge of NORSOK and ASME standards, and the ability to work independently through study and execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education; BSc preferred.
• Offshore/industrial piping design experience required.
• Experience with pipe routing and tie-in development.
• PDMS/E3D piping design proficiency and 3D modelling.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop piping systems and layouts.
• Perform 3D modelling of piping systems and equipment areas.
• Develop pipe routing through existing areas and modification projects.
• Identify tie-in positions and ensure clash-free piping designs.
• Participate in offshore/site surveys and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Produce and maintain piping design documentation.
