Job summary

NES Advantage AS, Aker Solutions' global recruitment partner, seeks a Piping Engineer DRE in Stavanger to support offshore projects. The role emphasizes design and 3D modelling with area layouts and piping activity estimation, plus participation in offshore surveys as required.

The candidate should have MSc/BSc or equivalent, offshore experience, and strong communication in Norwegian and English. On-site presence is required with collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience.
• Ability to work independently in all project phases from study to execution.
• Experience from offshore modification projects; North Sea experience preferred.
• Experience from site surveys, pipe-routing through existing areas and locating tie-in points to achieve clash-free design is mandatory.
• Knowledge of governing regulations and standards such as ASME, NORSOK.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the piping discipline’s tasks in a sub-project.
• Design and 3D modelling of piping systems.
• Area layout and 3D modelling of equipment.
• Estimation of piping activities.
• Participate in offshore surveys as required by projects.
• Communicate with client; ensure interfaces with other disciplines are efficient.
