Job summary

TGS is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner – Offshore to support our seismic vessel operations and offshore workforce. You will partner with vessel leadership, HR colleagues and operational leaders to deliver practical, business‑focused HR solutions across the full crew lifecycle.

This role requires independence, sound decision making, and experience in offshore, maritime, seismic, or remote workforce management. The position is based in Oslo, with global scope; apply by 10/04/2026.

Qualifications

• Relevant HR experience from offshore or seafaring operations.
• Strong HR processes knowledge across the employee lifecycle.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR partner to offshore seismic operations, vessel leadership and stakeholders.
• Support the full offshore crew lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, contracts, rotation, engagement, retention, repatriation.
• Advise on HR matters, crew welfare, workforce planning, employee relations and org development.
• Collaborate with vessel/project management to align people plans with operations and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement in crew management processes and tools.
• Promote consistent, fair and compliant people practices across HR
