Job summary

Dovre Solutions AS is seeking an OCTG Planner to coordinate planning schedules, manage RFPs, and generate purchase requisitions. The role requires a minimum of five years with contracting experience and proficiency in SAP and Excel, plus strong English or Norwegian communication skills.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, track production progress, and support the development of planning tools within a global project environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning schedules with stakeholders and ensure adherence to deadlines
• Register demand entries and track using the Excel control sheet
• Prepare and circulate RFP templates, coordinate quality control and supplier meetings
• Send finalized RFPs to suppliers and manage feedback and changes
• Generate purchase requisitions based on approved RFPs and monitor production progress
• Track material readiness with suppliers and the logistics team
• Maintain and develop the planning tool and liaise with PSR Wells and Wells engineers

• Coordinate planning schedules with all involved stakeholders, ensuring adherence to deadlines and planning cycles.
• Register new demand entries in the Excel control spreadsheet for tracking and visibility.
• Prepare Request for Production (RFP): complete the template, share internally, and organize quality control meetings.
• Send the finalized RFP to the supplier via email.
• Manage RFP processing: gather supplier feedback and implement necessary changes.
• Confirm RFP acceptance and ensure smooth internal and external information flow.
• Generate purchase requisitions based on approved RFPs.
• Monitor production progress and conduct regular follow-up meetings with suppliers.
• Track readiness of materials for delivery in coordination with suppliers and the JOS logistics team.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the planning tool.
• Interface with PSR Wells, Wells engineers, PFMs, logistics team, and relevant suppliers.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders throughout the year for production and RFP follow-ups.
• Bachelor/Master degree in supply chain management, logistics, finance or economics
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within contracting work.
• Good communication skills (written and oral), in English and/or Norwegian.
