Job summary

Head Energy invites an OCTG Planner to join its Supply Chain Management team in Norway. You will coordinate planning schedules, register demand, create SAP material numbers, and prepare and manage RFPs with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor/Master in SCM or related field, at least 5 years contracting experience, and strong English/Norwegian communication. Join a dynamic, safety-conscious environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in supply chain management, logistics, finance or economics.
• Minimum 5 years of contracting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English and/or Norwegian communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning schedules with stakeholders and meet deadlines.
• Register new demand in the Excel control spreadsheet.
• Create SAP material numbers for out-of-contract materials.
• Prepare and issue RFP templates, organize quality control meetings.
• Send finalized RFP to supplier by email.
• Manage RFP processing and implement changes based on feedback.
• Confirm RFP acceptance and ensure smooth information flow.
• Generate purchase requisitions from approved RFPs.
• Monitor production progress and follow up with suppliers.
• Track material readiness with suppliers and the JOS logistics team.
• Oversee development and maintenance of the planning tool.
• Interface with PSR Wells, Wells engineers, PFMs, logistics team, and suppliers.
• Schedule and facilitate year-round meetings for production and RFP follow-ups.
