HCA UK in London seeks a Nursing Associate to join the Spinal and Thoracic Ward at The Princess Grace Hospital. This permanent, full-time role provides involvement in admission to discharge, with opportunity to develop skills within a highly specialised inpatient environment.

You will support postoperative recovery, assist with care planning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient experiences while adhering to safe care standards.

Qualifications

• Active NMC Nursing Associate registration.
• Previous experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience supporting patients with post operative recovery and rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of patient mobilisation, clinical observations and safe care delivery.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient centred care to spinal and thoracic surgery inpatients within your scope of practice.
• Support patients throughout their surgical recovery, including mobilisation, respiratory care and activities of daily living.
• Assist Registered Nurses with the assessment, planning and implementation of individualised care plans.
• Undertake delegated clinical duties and accurately document patient care, observations and recovery progress.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to promote safe recovery and an exceptional patient experience.

Shift times: Monday to Sunday with flexibility to work long days, nights and weekends

We’re looking for a Nursing Associate to join our Spinal and Thoracic Ward team at The Princess Grace Hospital. Situated in the heart of London’s world renowned medical district, The Princess Grace Hospital is recognised for delivering expert care across a wide range of specialties. You’ll be joining a hospital known for its commitment to clinical excellence, innovation and delivering outstanding patient experiences. This is an opportunity to develop your clinical skills within a highly specialised inpatient environment, working alongside experienced nurses, multidisciplinary teams and leading consultants while supporting patients undergoing complex spinal and thoracic surgical procedures.

As a Nursing Associate in the Spinal and Thoracic Ward, you’ll be part of a team that provides specialist care for patients undergoing complex spinal and thoracic surgical procedures, supporting them from admission through to discharge. Day to day you’ll contribute to the assessment, planning and delivery of patient care, working closely with Registered Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team. You’ll support patients through post operative recovery and rehabilitation while gaining exposure to enhanced recovery pathways and opportunities to further develop your clinical skills within a highly specialised inpatient environment.
