Job summary

HCA UK in London seeks a Nursing Associate to join the Spinal and Thoracic Ward at The Princess Grace Hospital. This permanent, full-time role provides involvement in admission to discharge, with opportunity to develop skills within a highly specialised inpatient environment.

You will support postoperative recovery, assist with care planning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient experiences while adhering to safe care standards.

Qualifications

• Active NMC Nursing Associate registration.
• Previous experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience supporting patients with post operative recovery and rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of patient mobilisation, clinical observations and safe care delivery.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient centred care to spinal and thoracic surgery inpatients within your scope of practice.
• Support patients throughout their surgical recovery, including mobilisation, respiratory care and activities of daily living.
• Assist Registered Nurses with the assessment, planning and implementation of individualised care plans.
• Undertake delegated clinical duties and accurately document patient care, observations and recovery progress.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to promote safe recovery and an exceptional patient experience.
