Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting seeks a Payroll Implementation Consultant in Oslo to lead end-to-end payroll projects for Norwegian clients. You will gather requirements, configure payroll solutions, and validate data and integrations across testing cycles, ensuring smooth go-lives and thorough knowledge transfer.

The role requires 5+ years of payroll experience, strong client-facing and communication skills, and deep knowledge of Norwegian payroll processes and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in payroll or payroll implementation/consulting.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian payroll processes, tax, legislation and compliance.
• Client-facing, stakeholder management and effective communication skills.
• Experience in payroll outsourcing or payroll software environments.
• Ability to capture, analyze, articulate and document business requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Norwegian payroll implementation lifecycle with clients.
• Gather requirements, complete workbooks and configuration documents.
• Collaborate with Product team to configure payroll solutions.
• Validate payroll functionality, data and integrations across testing cycles.
• Participate in UAT, data mapping, reconciliation and go-live activities.
• Provide knowledge transfer to delivery and support teams.
• Document handover and ensure smooth project closure.
