Job summary

CHC Helicopter is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our Finance team in Sola, Norway, for a 12-month fixed-term period. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance with Norwegian regulations, collaborating with HR, Finance and external providers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in payroll, strong Norwegian payroll knowledge, and proficiency with Unit4 or similar systems; Altinn reporting is a plus. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian payroll legislation, taxation, pensions and reporting.
• End-to-end payroll processing experience with reconciliations.
• Experience with Unit4 or similar payroll/ERP systems; Altinn reporting desirable.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and validate monthly Norwegian payroll in compliance with laws.
• Manage statutory payroll reporting and submissions through Altinn and authorities.
• Reconcile payroll to general ledger and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare payroll journals and support month-end/year-end close.
• Maintain payroll master data and confidentiality per GDPR.
• Support audits and process improvements for efficiency.
