Job summary

Strada is seeking a Senior Norwegian Payroll Implementation Consultant to support HR and Payroll solution delivery for the Norwegian market. This 1-year contract allows 100% remote work with eligibility for long-term extension and assumes strong Norwegian payroll expertise.

The role requires hands-on HRIS experience, knowledge of Norwegian payroll legislation, and Swedish language proficiency, with collaboration across HR, payroll, finance, and technical teams.

• HR/Payroll implementation experience.
• Hands-on HRIS experience.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian payroll legislation.
• Experience with Norwegian payroll processes.
• Swedish language proficiency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of Norwegian HR and Payroll solutions.
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to HR, payroll, and local statutory processes.
• Translate Norwegian payroll requirements and legislation into functional system requirements.
• Configure and support HRIS/payroll solutions based on Norwegian payroll requirements.
• Work closely with HR, payroll, finance, business, and technical stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Perform payroll configuration, testing, validation, and issue resolution.
• Support UAT, parallel payroll runs, data validation, and go-live activities.
• Identify gaps between standard HRIS/payroll functionality and Norwegian statutory requirements.
• Provide functional guidance on Norwegian payroll processes and legislation.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and implementation documentation.
• Troubleshoot payroll and HRIS issues and coordinate with technical teams when required.
• Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvements.
• Ensure payroll processes comply with applicable Norwegian statutory and regulatory requirements.
