Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Maritime Simulation team in Horten. You will work with ship bridge, engine and cargo handling simulators, installing hardware and software, and contributing to global deliveries.

You should have an apprenticeship certificate or a bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience), travel willingness, and be able to obtain Norwegian security clearance. The role offers a flexible environment, strong teamwork, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds a certificate of apprenticeship or bachelor’s degree within relevant fields or has relevant experience.
• Experience from the maritime industry is a benefit.
• Is proactive, self-driven with a positive attitude, and good cooperation skills.
• Willing and able to travel.
• Will qualify for security clearance by Norwegian authorities.

Responsibilities

• Work with our Maritime Simulator product portfolio consisting of Ship bridge, engine and cargo handling simulators.
• Hardware and software installation and configuration.
• Contribute to deliveries of our products to clients worldwide.
• Ensure customer satisfaction – over time.
• Work in project teams with skilled Project Managers and other Engineers.
• Performance of all work according to the working methods set out in the KM Business Management System (BMS).
