Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime is seeking a dedicated HW Test Engineer for its Automation & Control unit in Norway. You will be part of a dynamic team focusing on assembly, testing, troubleshooting of deliveries and upgrades of equipment, and contributing to internal documentation and process improvements.

You will work closely with project management, testing both hardware and software, with opportunities to train apprentices and develop department procedures.

Qualifications

• Certificate in relevant subject areas such as electrical, automation and computer/electronics.
• Practical experience with technical installations.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written.
• General computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install HW project deliveries.
• Distribute networks and perform network tests in customer projects.
• Test and debug HW and SW on our systems.
• Some electromechanical adaptation.
• Collaborate closely with project management.
• Develop and maintain test documentation.
• Engage in continuous improvement work.
