Job summary
Kongsberg Maritime in Norway is seeking a HW Test Engineer to join the Automation & Control team. You will handle assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of HW/SW on our systems and contribute to documentation and process improvements.
The role requires a certificate in electrical/automation, practical installation experience, and fluency in Norwegian and English, with opportunities for training apprentices and working across new developments.
Qualifications
- This role requires a certificate in electrical, automation or computer/electronics.
- Practical experience with technical installations.
- Electromechanical experience is an advantage.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written.
- General computer knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assembly and installation of HW project deliveries.
- Distribution of networks and network tests in customer projects.
- Testing and debugging of HW and SW on our systems.
- Some electromechanical adaption.
- Collaborate with project management and develop test documentation.
- Engage in continuous improvement tasks.
