Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime is seeking a HW Test Engineer to join the Automation & Control unit in Norway. You will handle assembly, connection, testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software on our systems, while contributing to internal documentation and process improvements.

We value fluency in Norwegian and English, practical installation experience, and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality solutions for offshore oil and gas applications.

Qualifications

• Certificate in relevant subject areas such as electrical, automation and computer/electronics.
• Practical experience with technical installations.
• Experience with electromechanical work is an advantage.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written.
• General computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and installation of HW project deliveries.
• Distribution of networks and network tests in customer projects.
• Testing and debugging of HW and SW on our systems.
• Close collaboration and communication with project management.
• Further development of test documentation.
• Continuous improvement work.
