Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime is seeking a dedicated HW Test Engineer to join our Automation & Control team in Norway. You will handle assembly, testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software on our systems, and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes independent, proactive work, clear communication and collaboration with project teams, apprentices, and new employees. Fluent Norwegian and English are required.

Qualifications

Certificate in relevant subject areas such as electrical, automation and computer/electronics.
Practical experience with technical installations.
Experience with electromechanical work is an advantage.
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written.
General computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

Assembly and installation of HW project deliveries.
Distribution of networks and network tests in customer projects.
Testing and debugging of HW and SW on our systems.
Some electromechanical work.
Close collaboration and communication with project management.
Further development of test documentation.
Continuous improvement work.
