Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior or Lead Subsea Systems Engineer to join our subsea hub in Stavanger and Oslo, Norway. You will deliver subsea systems and field development solutions for oil, gas and energy projects within a team of about 60 engineers.

The role centers on ownership of subsea architecture from wellhead to export, mentoring junior engineers, and close collaboration with SPS, Subsea Structures, Risers and Flowline disciplines. You must currently live and work in Norway.

Qualifications

  • Relevant engineering degree and solid subsea systems experience.
  • Experience with SURF delivery and field architecture preferred.
  • Knowledge of Norwegian standards and regulations advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Providing subsea systems & facilities expertise to project teams.
  • Defining subsea system architecture from wellhead to export point.
  • Developing and maturing subsea field architecture concepts.
  • Developing subsea area layouts for infield locations and host facilities.
  • Collaborating with SPS, Subsea Structures, Risers and Flowline disciplines.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior systems and SURF engineers.
  • Contributing to project risk workshops and design reviews.
