Job summary

IK Subsea AS in Stavanger seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering and design for subsea projects, from concept through offshore deployment. You will own technical deliverables and work closely with multidisciplinary teams in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• Four or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented.
• Hands-on subsea lifecycle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering and design activities for significant subsea projects.
• Develop concepts, layouts, calculations and technical documentation.
• Coordinate interfaces with suppliers, fabrication, testing and deployment.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet standards and project requirements.
