Job summary

TechnipFMC is seeking a Senior System Engineer to lead IWOCS/RLWI sub-system design and testing from Kongsberg, Norway. The role links Product Project Manager with engineers, owning the technical scope and client relations across projects.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, building BOMs, managing scope, and conducting EFAT in collaboration with project teams. The IWOCS product family spans SACU, Reel & Umbilical, and more; 50% RLWI support is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline.
• Long experience in the hydraulic and electric engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of subsea engineering principles, production and workover products and systems.
• Fluent in English both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the system delivered will cover the operational needs as well as being within the given regulations and requirements.
• Build and maintain the Bill of Material for the project.
• Own the Scope of Supply for the project deliveries.
• Work closely with the customer's Lead Engineer, on operational needs and solutions.
• Oversee the Project Engineer's work for the project. New solutions and reuse of existing equipment.
• Final system testing (EFAT). Write the procedure and lead the test in collaboration with Project Engineers, Service Personnel and Test Manager.
