Job summary

TechnipFMC in Norway seeks a Lead Engineer to steer the engineering work in IWOCS & LoF projects. Based in Kongsberg, you will own subsystem design, client relations, and EFAT leadership, ensuring high-quality delivery in alignment with regulations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage scope of supply, and guide project engineers through testing and commissioning for SACU/IWOCS and related systems. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline (required).
• Long experience in hydraulic and electric engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of subsea engineering principles, production and workover products and systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent in English both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the system delivered will cover the operational needs as well as being within the given regulations and requirements.
• Build and maintain the Bill of Material for the project.
• Own the Scope of Supply for the project deliveries.
• Work closely with the customer's Lead Engineer, on operational needs and solutions.
• Oversee the Project Engineer's work for the project. New solutions and reuse of existing equipment.
• Final system testing (EFAT). Write the procedure and lead the test in collaboration with Project Engineers, Service Personnel and Test Manager.
