Job summary

TechnipFMC in Kongsberg, Norway seeks a Product Engineer to drive Subsea Control System deliveries. You will work with the Product Project Manager, Lead Engineer, Planner and Project Engineer to translate customer requirements into specifications, oversee supplier fabrication, and supervise FAT activities.

You will engage in design reviews, ensure compliance with standards, and support projects from concept through FAT, contributing to a collaborative and innovative team environment in the IWOCS

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• Extensive experience in hydraulic and electric engineering environments.
• Understanding of subsea engineering principles, production and workover products and systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Performs and approves engineering solutions within projects and manufacturing instructions.
• Optimizes engineering solutions.
• Provides technical assistance within projects, and at manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites.
• Approves design basis.
• May supervise sub-contractors.
• Ensures solutions meet client requirements, standards, and HSE.
