Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Norway is seeking a skilled Product Engineer to support subsea control system deliveries. You will follow projects from requirements to FAT, build specifications, run design reviews and coordinate supplier fabrication.

The role collaborates with the Product Project Manager, Lead Engineer, Planner and Project Engineer, with onboarding and internal growth opportunities, company cabins, gym, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline.
• Long experience in hydraulic and electric engineering environments.
• Some understanding of subsea engineering principles, production and workover products and systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Performs and approves engineering solutions within projects, and manufacturing & fabrication, in accordance with department, project, manufacturing & fabrication instructions, schedules & processes and HSE requirements.
• Optimized engineering solutions
• Technical assistance within projects, and manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites.
• Approves design basis.
• May supervise sub-contractors.
• Guarantees the compliance of engineering solutions with client requirements, industry standards, and Group HSE, engineering processes, and best practices for the discipline.
• Interfaces with other engineering disciplines and engineering teams.
