Hitachi Energy Norway AS is seeking a senior HSE advisor to strengthen our Health, Safety & Environment culture across Norwegian operations. You will partner with leaders, project teams and employees to drive proactive safety, ensure compliance and support operational excellence.
You will develop HSE strategy and programs, lead investigations and audits, and coach teams to embed health, safety and environmental responsibility in daily work.

In this key role, you will work closely with business leaders, project teams, and employees to drive a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance, and support operational excellence. Through visible leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement, you will help create a safe and sustainable workplace while contributing to business success.
Development of HSE strategy, programs, and initiatives across the Operating Unit.
Drive a strong safety culture where health, safety, and environmental responsibility are embedded in daily operations.
Ensure compliance with Norwegian legislation, Hitachi Energy policies, and customer requirements.
Support managers, project teams, and employees with expert HSE guidance and coaching.
Lead incident investigations, audits, risk management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, contractors, and authorities to enhance HSE performance and sustainability outcomes.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field is an advantage.
HSE experience from industries such as energy, utilities, construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Norwegian HSE legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
Leadership skills with the ability to engage, influence, and drive change across an organization.
Experience with incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement processes.
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, and willing to travel within Norway and occasionally internationally.
