Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a senior HSE advisor to lead and strengthen our Health, Safety & Environment culture across our Norwegian Grid Integration operations. You will partner with leaders, projects, and teams to drive a proactive safety program and sustainable practices.

You will shape HSE strategy, guide incident investigations and audits, ensure compliance with Norwegian regulations, and coach colleagues to embed safety into daily work while supporting business success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• HSE experience from industries such as energy, utilities, construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian HSE legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Leadership skills with the ability to engage, influence, and drive change across an organization.
• Experience with incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement processes.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, and willing to travel within Norway and occasionally internationally.
