Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Norway seeks a Service Manager to lead the HVDC and Power Electronics service group, develop the team, and secure outstanding customer satisfaction and growth. You will oversee operations, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and drive strategic service initiatives across Norway.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Power Engineering, senior service management experience, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related field.
• Experience in service management or a senior technical role within power transmission, HVDC, or power electronics industries.
• Knowledge of HVDC and/or Power Electronics solutions is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial mindset with ability to develop customer relationships and business opportunities.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English; willingness to travel within Norway and occasionally internationally.
