Job summary

Easee is seeking an IT Specialist to own and continuously improve its cloud-only IT setup, serving as the first dedicated IT person. The role blends hands-on troubleshooting with strategic thinking, aiming to fix root causes and broaden responsibilities into integrations, business systems, and the data platform.

The position requires English and a Norwegian edge is a plus. You will work across locations with high freedom to shape the IT function from day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience within IT in solution management, security, or hands-on improvement.
• A vocational qualification in ICT, a Bachelor’s degree in IT, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin or similar system management.
• Experience with security management and improvement work.
• Structured, accountable, and service-minded with a drive to learn.
• You’re solution-oriented and comfortable switching between tasks.

Responsibilities

As our IT Specialist, you'll play a key role in owning and continuously improving Easee's modern, cloud-only IT setup.

This is a broad role that combines hands‑on troubleshooting with longer‑term thinking. You'll be the first person colleagues turn to when something IT-related isn't working, so you need to genuinely enjoy helping people, stay positive, and make employees feel taken care of, even on a busy day. At the same time, we're not looking for someone who just fixes the issue in front of them, we want someone who goes behind the scenes afterwards, finds the root cause, and improves the setup so the same problem doesn't come back.

You don't need to be senior to succeed here. We're looking for the right mindset and technical curiosity, someone who wants to learn and grow into a role with real ownership.

Beyond core IT, you'll also get the chance to contribute in adjacent areas together with the rest of the Business Optimization team, think integrations, business systems, and our data platform. How much of your time goes here depends on your interests and strengths, but it's a real opportunity to broaden your scope beyond traditional IT.

What you need to bring along

• Minimum 2 years of experience within IT, whether in solution management, security, or hands‑on improvement work

• A vocational qualification in ICT, a Bachelor’s degree in IT, or a related field. Relevant hands‑on experience can compensate for formal education.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin or similar system management

• Experience with security management and improvement work

• You’re structured, accountable, and genuinely service‑minded. You enjoy helping people and stay positive even on a busy day, with a genuine drive to learn on your own initiative

• You’re solution‑oriented and comfortable switching between tasks in a busy day

Microsoft admin certifications are considered a plus, as is demonstrated technical interest and competence, for example through coding, system confirguration, or similar hans‑on experience.
