Job summary

BrightMark GmbH in Alta, Norway seeks an experienced IT Manager to oversee our technology infrastructure, lead a team of IT professionals, and ensure reliable operations across hardware, software, and networks.

You will develop strategies, manage vendor relationships, and provide end-user support while staying current with new technologies. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years in IT leadership are required; visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT leadership role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of IT professionals including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement technology strategies to align with company goals.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data and systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Oversee installation, maintenance and upgrading of hardware and software systems.
• Provide technical support to employees on hardware, software and network issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors for IT services.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and recommend implementations.
