Job summary

Nordscale Operations seeks an IT Manager to lead the information technology function for a rapidly scaling AI data centre environment in Narvik. You will drive IT operations, from infrastructure planning to end-user support, with a hands-on approach.

As the organization grows, you will own IT strategy, procurement decisions, technical implementation, and staff enablement. This role requires self-drive and strong ownership of outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT leadership with proven ability to run an IT function end-to-end.
• Experience managing assets, licenses, and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, data protection, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the IT function and act as senior technical authority.
• Lead procurement, evaluation, and licensing of IT equipment and software.
• Set up and maintain asset inventory and lifecycle management.
• Provide end-user support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Establish IT policies, security standards, and procedures.
