Job summary

Six Robotics seeks a VP of Engineering to lead the day-to-day operation and scaling of our engineering organization. Reporting to the CTO, you will own execution cadence, delivery predictability, and engineering hiring to maintain a healthy, high-performing team.

You will drive end-to-end ownership of engineering operations and talent, ensuring fast, precise delivery and strong leadership across all levels as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of engineering leadership experience in scaling environments with end-to-end accountability for delivery and people outcomes.
• Strong people leadership including employee development and performance management.
• High standards for execution with predictable cadence and pragmatic governance.
• Excellent technical communications skills and ability to structure status updates for leadership.
• fluency in English and a degree in engineering or natural sciences.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the engineering organization across all levels.
• Take full ownership of people leadership, performance management, and culture.
• Scale the engineering team with strong leadership and professionalism.
• Own and shape engineering execution with clear planning and delivery cadence.
• Introduce pragmatic processes (e.g., OKRs) to create clarity and accountability.
• Partner closely with the CTO and leadership team, providing visibility into delivery and risks.
