Job summary

Promon, an Oslo-based cybersecurity company, seeks an experienced Head of IT to own systems design, technology standards, and the sourcing strategy while leading the IT team and reporting to the CFO.

You will govern IT strategy, budgets, vendor relationships, and risk management, partnering with Compliance & Security to ensure continuity. The role supports a Europe-wide remote-enabled setup with travel to Oslo when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading IT in a growth software/tech company.
• Experience designing and implementing system integrations and standards.
• Strong budgeting, vendor negotiations, and supplier management.
• Solid understanding of information security, privacy and continuity.
• Commercial mindset with contractual ICT skills.
• Hands-on leadership with ability to operate at governance and technical levels.

Responsibilities

• Own systems design and information flow across the organization.
• Set technology standards and define sourcing strategy for internal, external, and cloud delivery.
• Lead IT strategy, governance, and capability planning; manage the budget.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage ICT supplier relationships.
• Partner with Compliance & Security on risk, continuity and compliance.
