Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting in Norway seeks an experienced Instrument Engineer to lead design and follow-up of instrument packages for greenfield offshore oil & gas and wind projects. You will coordinate with vendors, carry out IAT/FAT test activities, and ensure timely delivery of vendor documentation and data registers.

The role requires deep knowledge of field instrumentation design, adherence to NORSOK/ATEX/PTIL/IEC standards, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience from engineering for greenfield offshore oil&gas or wind projects
• Minimum 3 years’ Experience with PRE activities and responsibilities from green field projects
• Experience and deep knowledge of field instrumentation design, measuring principle and solutions according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC
• Communicate well in English - both orally and in writing
• Be cooperative and able to work in a multicultural team environment
