Head Energy is seeking a skilled Senior Instrument Engineer to lead the creation and revision of instrument documentation for offshore projects in Stavanger. You will handle Cauce & Effect diagrams, SCD diagrams, loop drawings for process, Fire & Gas and safety systems, and IS loop calculations.

• Over 10 years of engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Knowledge of NORSOK, PTIL, and API standards.
• Basic EX course and FSE high and low voltage (including first aid).
• Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills.

Responsabilités

• Produce and revise instrument documentation and drawings such as Cauce & Effect, SCD diagrams, loop drawings for process, Fire & Gas and safety systems; IS Loop Calculations.
• Revise existing documentation and drawings.
• Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project.

• Understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines.

Produce and revise instrument documentation, order materials for offshore installation, and discuss technical solutions with clients and vendors.

• Over 10 years of engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Knowledge of NORSOK, PTIL, and API standards
• Basic EX course and FSE high and low voltage (including first aid)
• Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills
• Bachelor or Master degree (or 10-15 years of relevant experience)

Job Description

• Produce/understand new documentation and drawings such as Cauce&Effect, System Control Diagrams (SCD) diagrams, loop drawings for process, Fire&Gas and safety systems; IS Loop Calculations.
• Revise existing documentation and drawings.
• Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project.
• Order all instrument materials needed for offshore installation.
• Must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines.
• Discussions with Client and vendor representatives in order to find optimal technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Lack of education requires 10-15 years of relevant work experience
• More than 10 years experience in engineering within the Oil&Gas industry.
• Must have knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK, PTIL and API standards
• High degree of self learning skills
• Good communication
• Excellent Norwegian and English writing & speaking skills
• Knowledge of modifications on offshore installations when in operation
• Basic EX course
• FSE high and low voltage, including first aid
