Job summary

Head Energy Group is seeking an experienced Senior E&I Engineer to contribute to CTR activities, bid support, and project execution on fixed drilling facilities offshore. The role covers electrical field engineering, supplier follow-up, and installation coordination on the NCS.

Requirements include a degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of experience, familiarity with EX/ATEX equipment, and offshore training. English and Norwegian are needed for communication and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
• Knowledge of PTIL, NORSOK, ATEX, OLF, DNV and IEC.
• Experience with modification work at fixed drilling units on NCS.
• Trained for and experienced with EX, Exi and ATEX equipment and regulations.
• Offshore training + health certificate.

Job Description:

• Contribute in CTR-activities/bid, both installation and project related
• Study and project execution within drilling facilities on fixed platforms
• Electrical field engineering
• Supplier follow-up
• Field hook-up engineering
• Work packages
• Installation follow-up, red mark-up documentation, final documentation
• Offshore surveys, installation follow up or yard stay can be actual
• Coordination and cooperation with rig crew and ongoing installation work
• Contribute to project(s) and deliver on time and budget assigned work tasks
• Report costs, progress and deviation to technical lead/package engineer or project managers

Qualifications:

• Technical, bachelor’s or master’s degree within electrical engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years’ experience
• Experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Additional electrician certificate is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Petroleum industry standards, rules and regulations such as PTIL, NORSOK, ATEX, OLF, DNV and IEC.
• Experience with modification work at fixed drilling units on NCS
• Preferable experience within some or all of the following areas:
• Power distribution systems with load calculations
• 3.rd party hookup and documentation (Z015N)
• Drilling equipment and systems
• Winterization, heat tracing with power distribution
• Engineering and design of the above mentioned
• Trained for and experienced with EX, Exi and ATEX equipment and regulations
• Experience with project deliveries and key customers’ expectations
• Experience with all relevant laws, regulations and standards according above mentioned topics
• Offshore training + heath certificate
• Preferable familiar with following programs:
  • o Autocad
  • o Febdok
  • o Client systems like PIMS, SAP, Stid, Stidloop, Procosys, and others
  • o MS Office software
