Job summary

Norfund in Oslo is seeking a solution-oriented data analyst with 1-2 years of experience to measure climate, development impact and gender equality. You will combine data skills with a developer's mindset to turn code into insights for reporting across markets.

You will contribute to annual development effects reporting, support AI-enabled workflows, and collaborate with teams to improve data tools and systems while staying focused on impact in emerging markets.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent.
• Solid Python and SQL skills; experience with Power BI and Azure.
• Experience with AI and quality assurance of AI-assisted work.
• Genuine interest in development finance, impact, climate and gender equality.
• Analytical, autonomous and team-oriented.
• English fluency; Norwegian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the annual development effects reporting: collect, structure and analyze data from portfolio companies.
• Support the team's climate, additionality, gender equality and impact workstreams with developer skills—building and improving AI agents and tools.
• Data extraction and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Quality assure AI-generated outputs and contribute to AI-assisted workflows with cross-team collaboration.
• Contribute to improving the team's tools and data flows as new systems are introduced.
