Job summary

Norfund's Impact & Climate team in Oslo is seeking a solution-oriented data analyst with 1–2 years of experience who writes code with purpose: measuring climate, gender equality and development impact in emerging markets. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to collect and analyse data from portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree with strong academic record; Master's degree is an advantage.
• Solid Python and SQL skills; experience with Power BI and cloud data platforms (Azure).
• Experience with AI and quality assurance of AI-assisted work.
• Genuine interest in development finance, impact, climate and gender equality.
• Analytical, driven, and able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to annual development effects reporting by collecting, structuring and analysing data from portfolio companies.
• Support climate, additionality, gender equality and impact workstreams with developer skills to build AI agents and tools.
• Data extraction and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Quality assure AI-generated outputs and contribute to AI-assisted workflows with cross-team collaboration.
• Improve tools and data flows as new systems are introduced.
