Job summary

Norfund's Impact & Climate team seeks a solution-oriented data analyst with 1–2 years of experience to measure and report climate, gender equality and development impact in emerging markets. You will collect and analyze data from Norfund portfolio companies, support AI-enabled workflows, and help build and improve reporting tools, based at the Oslo office.

Preference for strong Python/SQL skills, Power BI and Azure experience, and a genuine interest in development finance and impact metrics.

Qualifications

1–2 years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent; Master's degree is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Contribute to annual development effects reporting by collecting, structuring and analysing data from portfolio companies.
Support climate, additionality, gender equality and impact workstreams with developer skills, building AI agents and tooling.
Data extraction and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Quality assure AI-generated outputs and contribute to AI-assisted workflows with cross-team collaboration on tools and systems.
Improve data flows and tools as new systems are introduced over the coming years.
