Job summary

Aker Solutions in Fornebu, Norway, is searching for an experienced Project Manager to lead large hydropower projects from design to installation. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, balancing safety, quality, schedule, cost, and risk to deliver results.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in managing complex projects, with strong leadership and commercial acumen, and is fluent in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong track record of successfully leading large, technically complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, management, and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful execution of complex hydropower projects with safety, quality, schedule, cost and risk
• Build strong and trusted relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders
• Drive project performance and ensure predictable and successful outcomes
• Managing commercial performance, profitability and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities to protect project value
• Establish a strong execution culture and motivate multidisciplinary teams towards common goals
• Ensure effective collaboration between engineering, procurement, manufacturing and site operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement and strengthen project management excellence across the organization
