Job summary

Project Manager at Aker Solutions AS will lead the execution of large, technically challenging hydropower projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost targets are met.

You will build strong relationships with customers and partners, drive performance, and manage commercial aspects including contracts and change orders in a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
• Strong track record leading large, complex technical projects.
• Strong leadership with commercial judgement.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English.
• Confident managing contractual matters, claims, and project economics.
• Dynamic environment with impact on project performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of large, complex hydropower projects with safety, quality, schedule, cost and risk.
• Build strong relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders.
• Drive project performance and ensure predictable outcomes.
• Manage profitability and contractual matters throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities to protect project value.
• Establish execution culture and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure effective collaboration between engineering, procurement, manufacturing and site operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and project management excellence.
• Support development of future project managers and leadership capabilities.
