Job summary

KONGSBERG is seeking a Systems Architect for its Uncrewed Platforms division to define and maintain the total system architecture across autonomous marine solutions. You will interact with stakeholders, model architectures, and guide cross-disciplinary teams from design through deployment and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Proven experience with model-based systems engineering, preferably in uncrewed or autonomous systems.
• Strong knowledge of systems architecting and engineering principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with relevant technologies or domains.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the total system architecture of the solution.
• Contribute to the high-level breakdown of the system, defining interactions, interfaces, and technologies.
• Understand requirements by identifying stakeholders and extracting architectural significance.
• Formulate the design by modeling systems architecture to meet functional and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration and alignment with the architecture.
• Implement and oversee system engineering processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
