KONGSBERG is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of autonomous maritime systems within the Discovery division. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and manage customer relationships to ensure successful transitions from concept to delivery.

To strengthen our Uncrewed Platforms team, we are looking for Senior Project Managers who want to help shape the future of autonomous maritime systems.

Your responsibilities

• Lead delivery and development projects within autonomous maritime systems, both above and below the surface.

• Ensure project objectives related to quality, schedule, risk management, and financial performance are achieved.

We believe you will succeed in this role if you

• Have successfully led complex technology development projects involving multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
• Are structured, goal-oriented, and capable of delivering results through others.
• Understand the relationship between technology, risk, and commercial performance.
• Are curious, willing to challenge established ways of thinking, and a strong team player.
• Are comfortable leading projects where requirements evolve, technical challenges emerge, and not all answers are known in advance.
• Are a strong communicator able to both listen and explain complex topics to both the team and to customers and stakeholders.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
• You do not need to be the technical expert, but you must be able to understand technical trade-offs, challenge assumptions, and drive decisions across engineering disciplines.
