Job summary

KONGSBERG Discovery is seeking a Systems Architect to define and maintain the total system architecture for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and uncrewed surface vessels (USVs). The role spans from requirements analysis to design, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work setting.

You will work within the Uncrewed Platforms division, contributing to engineering of maritime autonomous systems in an international environment and potentially handling security clearance

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with model-based systems engineering.
• Knowledge of systems architecting and engineering principles.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the total system architecture of the solution.
• Define system interactions, interfaces, and technologies to be used.
• Understand requirements and extract architectural significance.
• Model systems architecture to meet functional and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration with the overall architecture.
