Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an HSE Coordinator or Safety Officer
• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, NEBOSH, or IOSH
• Knowledge of Norwegian health and safety legislation (Arbeidsmiljøloven, FSE) and ISO 45001/14001
• Experience with digital EHS management systems, ideally EcoOnline
• Fluent in Norwegian and proficient in English
• Willingness to work on-site in Glomfjord

Responsibilities

• Maintain an incident-free environment and ensure regulatory compliance
• Set crystal-clear safety expectations for all personnel and contractors
• Ensure compliance with Arbeidsmiljøloven, FSE and ISO standards like 45001 and 14001
• Conduct HSE audits, safety walks, and remediation of non-compliant solutions
• Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and accurate record-keeping in EcoOnline
• Provide HSE training and onboarding and ensure Lockout/Tagout governance
• Oversee environmental monitoring, waste management, and energy metrics
• Support training and development opportunities for the role
