Job summary

Nscale is seeking a proactive HSE Coordinator to guard safety, health, and environmental performance across our data center facilities in Glomfjord, Norway. You will drive a zero-harm culture, ensure regulatory compliance, lead audits, investigations, and training, and partner with site managers and contractors to embed world-class safety practices at scale.

This role requires meticulous risk focus, strong bilingual communication in Norwegian and English, and the ability to balance rapid growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years HSE experience in coordinator/safety role
• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian health and safety laws and ISO standards (45001/14001)
• Experience with EHS management systems (EcoOnline preferred)
• Fire Marshal / First Aid / 40 Hour HSE credentials advantageous

Responsibilities

• Maintain an incident-free environment and regulatory compliance on site
• Lead safety audits, inspections and remediation of hazards
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and document findings
• Coordinate HSE training, onboarding, and LOTO governance
• Oversee environmental monitoring and energy metrics
• Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and contractors to embed safety culture
